CSA Rah Rah Rah!
I am ALAIV!! XD
I dont blog here much anymore since well, other reason haha. But my friend Maan showed this to me and I just HAVE to share hahahahha! Apparently there's an ongoing thread in pinoyexchange about who is the best hs in the country. Now, I have been an alumni (WOOOHOOO) for a year and a few weeks now hahahha and I still have some csa blood in me that I know won't go away so when she showed me this, I was shocked but then it was redeemed by an anonymous hero of an augustinian! yey! XD anyway, i'll post the rant of this people here and lemme know what you think ne! :D
Again, this is a post to a thread which is trying to find out which hs in the country people think is the best.
"CSA Makati? puh-leeezzz!
please lang 'no! wag naman banggitin ang csa makati as one of the
best high schools! mahiya naman kayo sa mga graduate ng science HS na
nagbabasa ng thread na 'to!
based sa mga nakasalamuha kong agustinian, WALA pa akong nakilala good
enough to say na nanggaling sila sa best school! kung less than 20 lang
ang kilala ko from csa, i would not bother making this comment. in
fairness, meron silang personalidad, pero that's it. panay boka lang.
and please lang no, napakadaming nag-s-summer class for every batch!
pati nga filipino and english subject nag-s-summer pa, hindi lang
science and math ha?! and hindi lang mabibilang sa dalawang kamay ang
nag-s-summer per batch, halos 2 classrooms per batch ang nag-s-summer!
nalaman ko 'to not only 'coz my neighbor's kid goes to csa, pero ako
matalino. pero sa csa talaga, they take the whole godd*mn apple tree!
sabi nga ng guidance personnel na kakilala ko from one of the top universities, ang csa raw ay country club posing as a school.
that's the end of the bad guy's rant (bad guy wtf. hahahaha. if whoeveryouare is reading this, no offense. i find this purely entertaining:P) SOOOOO here's the reply! of some fellow augustinian (who i am assuming is our batchmate or someone who recently graduated abou 2 years ahead or until batch 2007)
MY HERO XD
"
Well, well, well, someone's got a vendetta....
I couldn't be more amused at a post that apparently does not do
RESEARCH....and affirms the apparent "dumbness" of CSA-Makati by
his/her wonderful source: A SECURITY GUARD!!!! LOL!
Ok let's get down to business and look at things with a MORE OBJECTIVE point of view.
While I give high respect to the Science High Schools in the country, I
don't think I've seen anyone from their schools to actually show the
amount of opprobrium or haughtiness you've OH SO CLEARLY demonstrated.
Would it affect your HIGH STANDARDS of being the STUCK-UP A** that you
are and shock you that a number of Science High School graduates that
you probably are proud of come originally from CSA.
CSA has the Seventh grade and I remember during my time that a good
number of our batchmates decided to take the shortcut and go to a
Science High School skipping the seventh grade to shorten their
educational attainment.
Lo and behold, these same people that took their first six or seven
years in our school did so well in the Science High schools that you
put so highly on a pedestal and come back saying that they owe it to
the good science and math programs that are offered as early as
PREPATORY. Take note, in a recent ASEAN math and science quiz bee,
CSA-Makati dominated together with students NOT from SCIENCE high
schools but CHINESE schools in the country...landing a FRONT page
mention in the PHILIPPINE DAILY INQUIRER. (I wish I clipped that
newspaper article, I didn't really put much though into it because it's
a common occurrence)
I'm flattered that you'd even mention we have a "personality." The way
your post was going, I'm quite bewildered to think that it's our only
saving grace. I also apologize for the fact that we don't just talk the
talk, but we walk the walk as well.
I would like to know where all your incredulous vibe is coming from,
could you have been kicked out from the school you're trying to malign
and for PETE'S sake, before posting something, DO YOUR
RESEARCH...that's a standard operating procedure especially when you
try to back up your incongruous claims.
Yes I can honestly admit to you that we OFFER summer classes but DO
TAKE note, it is NOT EXCLUSIVE to our school. I can also adamantly
claim that we do have a VERY large school population. The classes you
may have seen or as your SUPER SOURCE - a security guard no less,
compose of different grade levels and a number of subjects.
WE ALSO OFFER ENGLISH AND FILIPINO summer classes NOT BECAUSE our
students lack the grasp for these BASIC of classes but because our
school has actually a LARGE INTERNATIONAL
STUDENT Population. This is why we have section/s called the
"FOREIGNER'S CLASS" Most students that take the English and Filipino
classes come from countries that obviously do not really put emphasis
on ENGLISH MUCH LESS FILIPINO as a BASIC subject (koreans, indians,
fil-ams, etc).
So do we really take the damn f***ing apple tree as your "assiduous"
POST would like to point out? I'm sorry but I think you're SORELY
mistaken. I know so many other PRIVATE schools which I won't even
mention that think so highly of themselves, but can't even freaking
create a DAMN, GRAMATICALLY correct sentence. Maybe they should try
enrolling in our "ENGLISH AND FILIPINO" summer classes.
(btw, to those offended, these remarks are SOLELY dedicated to the GREAT BIG GOD in the form of dawson_khaled)
Oh and I love it how we're a COUNTRY CLUB posing as a school....well I
guess you can say that, because year in and year out, we cater to the
children of politicians, diplomats, dignitaries, society's elite and
what not. Can you blame us?!! Can you blame our sprawling campus with
two fields, the longest and largest cafeteria in the world, 3 huge
covered courts, 1 gym that offers among others gymnastics and rock
climbing (the first in the country at that), tennis courts that's used
by no less than the American ambassador to the Philippines, Fully
airconditioned and functional classrooms, state of the art laboratories
and a newly renovated Theater to the tune of 60 million pesos that can
go mano y mano with the likes of our better Theaters in the country????
We do not claim to be the best school in the country as most of the
posters here seem to do so, because THERE REALLY ISN'T A SCHOOL in the
country that is ABSOLUTELY the BEST...there are just factors or a
certain amount of criteria that may give you the inkling that one
school is better than the other. If you base it on academic curriculum,
of course Science HS lead the way, if you talk about Athletic
achievements, schools such as La Salle, Ateneo which join most
available leagues come into mind, if you talk about school facilities
there's always our school and the rest (just kidding) but what I do
know is that WE ARE A GOOD school that has produced a number of
illustrious alumni in such a short span of time (we are relatively a
younger school than most private schools in the country) which I need
not mention because we don't need to do that to affirm our "greatness."
Oh and I find it utterly hilarious, how you think TWO opinions make for
a great case as to how csa-makati isn't one of the better schools in
the country....WHOPEEEEDOOOOO!
You should probably join Eddie Gil in his campaign sorties…you’ll do an awesome job
It's just too bad that your line of thinking seems to spew out so much
hate and muddle headed judgement that one would think twice before
believing your statements. By all means, send your son or daughter to a
high school which you think is BETTER than CSA-Makati (I'll even pay
for his or her TUITION!) We don't really need any more students, in
fact we're trying hard to keep our population to a minimum because of
the numerous applicants year in and year out.
For me, I think that a school would be the BEST if it's able to hone
your skills, develop your talents and basically bring out the best in
you....it can be a public school or a private school, as long as it's
able to make you a better person, which clearly YOUR SCHOOL didn't do
with you the way you're behaving.
And please get some breeding...I think you may have purchased yours at Rustan's."
WOOOHOOO. Yey. horray for our ingenius intellectual capabilities for debate and rebuttal. Did I spell rebuttal right? OH WELL there goes my extreme augustinian ingenius intellectual capability! XD Joke, this is the effect of summer! (eeeexxcccuuuusseeeesss~)

The One About My Addiction
Serious? or Stupid? I suggest you place your bets now because not even I know how this entry is going to turn out.
I swore to myself that I'd go up to the 17th floor of Bro. Andrew to
look up some analysis of the stories we were to be quizzed on for
Humalit. Instead, I sit before this monitor and type this.
Ready? This is your last change to change your bet. After my signal, all um.. bet-placing (see? I don't gamble) is off.
START.
Okay. So, addiction.
A lame and personal definition would be when someone does something on
a regular basis so often that at one point, the person may be unwilling
to do it but still finds his/herself doing it.
By that definition, I am not an addict...
..in Hana Yori Dango anyway. And I'll prove to you why!
Are you regretting your bet now?
You lost? Well I won. I can't seem to put out a decent post, huh?
Well, I am NOT a HYD addict. I mean, sure, I check crunchyroll.com
everyday for any new videos but its not because I HAVE TO HAVE IT. Its
because there is no certain regularity as to when a new video is coming
out, plus, there are videos being shown there that are from shows where
the cast special guests in. Its different when you just go there to...
I don't know.. watch the same videos over and over again.
I do not scour the internet for every little bit and piece of
information I can find on the cast or the details of the show. All I
can rely on is crunchyroll for the simple fact that I am a total sloth
that is too lazy to look for the videos and interviews for myself.
Besides, I can be putting my time to better use.. you know, like
learning Japanese and memorizing lyrics XD.
Yep, I know. I'm so productive. Make me your idol, I'm worth it.
Its probably a phase. Its because the show is being aired currently is
Japan which is making me so addicted to it. It's like my Harry Potter
Phase. People that know me KNOW that I am a Harry Potter NUT. But only
going to the point of insanity during times when heat of Harry Potter
is there. After the release of the books and after a gazillion
discussions and rants about it with Jean, Kat, Alex, Lana and Gellie, I
settle down and cool off. There's nothing else to say. Then my obsessed
self goes dormant until the next Harry Potter book release (a friendly
warning: this will is predicted in the month of June when the 5th movie
will be released--June13--and the last book will be
distributed--June21--which will start be buzzing. I SWEAR. You have
been warned). The same goes for when I'm watching Hana Yori. I buzz
like hell when I'm watching it. I'm talking animatedly to no one in
particular and it is as if I have multiple personalities. I am a schizo
when I am in the process of watching but I die down after I talk with
Alex. There's not much to talk about anyway since in watching the
video, I myself am late so Alex would have already cooled down too.
Its the same with Arashi. Sure, I am developing weird feelings and
opinions about Ohno (haha. talk about someone you don't know right? You
are free to comment "Sino yun" and express your "what the hell" face),
but I am not an addict.
Sure, I still nod my head like crazy when I'm listening to Sakura Sake
and all of those good Arashi songs in the morning and I still get all
emo when listening to Planetarium and Flavor of Life at night. Sure, I
daydream about going to Japan and conversing in straight Japanese with
Micah and Alex. I still think about being serious on studying Japanese,
going to Japan, getting signed in Johnny (whoa-hoho!) and getting a
show with Jun, even getting into an Arashi music video.
But no. I am NOT an addict.
I am not an addict because, as I have stated in my definition earlier... it is to the point of unwillingness to do the action.
Unlike that definition, i am VERY VERY VERY willing to do all of those things.
The term they have for people like me are different.
They are called Obsessed.
But that is an entirely different blog entry.
So, did you win the bet?
I swore to myself that I'd go up to the 17th floor of Bro. Andrew to

going to the point of insanity during times when heat of Harry Potter

The One About the Flavor of Happiness
Before I begin, I would just like to say that the stupidest thing for today just occured to me. I actually took minutes to debate with myself (just now) whether "happiness" is spelled with one "n" or two. One "n" looks about right to me and that's how I decided to stick with that.
Chikusho; watashi wa bakeru janai. (Damn it, I'm an idiot). Haha.
So, now what? What was I going to rant abou--
..AH YES. See, there's just something wrong with my brain, my memory slips every other minute. I should go to my neurologist.. well, I should probably hire one first and then..
AHAHAHAHA. I made a joke!
You don't get it?
No?
Yeah, neither do I.
..what was the... OH YEAH. Right. Before I forget it again, I should probably start ranting, or talking or.. whatever.
WARNING: the following paragraph (more or less) contains scenes and ideas that come from the mind of an obssessed Hana Yori Dango fan.
If you do not know what HYD is, that's fine because I will be explaining it anyway, but for the next few ideas.. well, you get the point. This is a peek into my mind, if you will.
Let me then just explain before I continue: (if you dont want spoilers, I suggest you look away, if you dont really care, then read on)
In the end of season one, Makino gave Doumyouji a cookie that he ended up keeping for an entire year because he left for New York. When he first saw the cookie, he said in his mocking yet really amusing way (he liked Makino and his meanness was just a sort of cover up for his real feelings, if you will), "Pfft. Poorly made". He never ate the cookie and always kept it in the box she gave it in. Now, in season two, he comes back to Japan. He decides to forget her and finally takes a bite of the cookie and finally throws it into the trash (he bit a year-old cookie. i know, but leave it be). A few episodes later, he finally realizes that he cant forget her like he thought and goes to her really delapidated (i dont want to debate with myself. If it has wrong spelling, i dont care) house and they talk. BTW, this might be long...
Doumyouji: All of a sudden, its just the two of us now.
Makino: Eh? You're the one that kicked Suzumo (that's her brother) out of the room.
D: That's not true! I just wanted him to study!
M: You're so full of it! You just wanted to be alone with me, right?
D: That's not why. I just...
M: Don't.
D: ..eh?
M: Don't say anything weird right now. I'm actually at my limits. I've been through a lot.
D: ...Makino. Have you ever eaten a fig?
M: Huh?
D: What do figs taste like?
M: Well, aren't they sweet and sour?
D: You know, when you cut a fig in half, it looks like a heart. That's why they say that its bittersweetness...is the flavor of love.
M: what the heck...
D: A Pakistani I knew in New York told me that.
M: are you telling the truth?
D: But to me... the flavor of love...tastes like... that lousy cookie you made.
OMG, watching it again is giving me shivers right there!!!! There are a lot of pauses in between. Its a really dramatic scene. hehe!
Okay, okay.. here's the fangirliness now...
I dreamt of Doumyouji a few nights later. Addict, I KNOW! Haha. I forget how it starts... Basta, I'm with him and he's all depressed about how Makino isn't replying to him about her own feelings. I don't know why he knows me or why I'm with him, but I am. The part I remember clearly is at night, in one of those sidewalk ramen stalls that are still open at, what? 9pm at night. He and I are eating ramen (i've never even eaten ramen, you know. in my dream would be the first time) and he's sad. Neither of us are talking. Then I look at him with a really sad face and then I cheerfully say that I'm going out of the stall for a while and that he should keep eating. I go out, and in my dream I don't follow my point of view. It stays there with him as I go and it concentrates on him looking confused but still eating his ramen. A few moments later, my dreamself comes back in and hands him a popsicle. "Here," I say to him (Btw, he's japanese yet in my dream i'm talking to him in english. He seems to understand what i'm saying though, just now why I'm saying them). He looks at me and then at the popsicle with a sad and confused face. Then I say, "Ramen isn't helping. Eat this. I guarantee you'll feel better." He takes it and i look ahead, away from him. "I know I'm no doctor or the heart or of the mind, but for some reason and for me anyway whenever I'm sad, I just have to eat ice cream and I feel better. Some people eat ice cream to wallow, I eat it to be happy because ice cream--" I look at him "--is the flavor of happiness".
DAMN IT I'M SUCH AN ADDICT.
But yeah, that's how it went. The dream ended there and I woke up. This dream was about three weeks ago when I first watched that episode and since then I *have* been refering to ice cream as the flavor of happiness. Sappy, I know.. but it is totally true. I don't eat ice cream that often, but when I do, sad or happy, I always feel like jumping in giddiness. Perhaps its the sugar rush, but still... It oddly always does make me happy.
I think that it is the one material thing that makes me happy all the time. It's effect is temporary, sure, but its always there when you need it, plus, the effect is always the same. It's like an upper that's not a drug! haha.
Since then too, I've decided that I'm good with creating those drama lines. haha. Not original, I agree but you have to admit.. that flavor of happiness thing is pretty darn cool! So far, I've told the "ice cream=flavor of happiness" personally (by that I mean from dream to actuality) to two people and they seem to like it. I hope that even if I wasnt able to give them popsicles, that it somehow helped them to smile despite their emo-ness at the time.
..there. That's totally random and I dont know how to close this entry. But I hope that you got, despite my weird rantings, something from this too. After all...
I'm just a crazy whacked fan. But still.. a HAPPY crazy whacked fan.
Correction: a happy crazy whacked fan who really REALLY wants to go to Japan!
HONTO NI IKITAI~!!!!!!! Kyaaa~
Another senseless entry brought to you by me. Enjoy.
